29 students from 10th Planet Burbank and Headquarters competed the US Open (Submission Grappling and Pankration Tournament) at the Los Angeles Convention Center on August 29, 2009. Most Burbank students competed in the beginner brackets. 10th Planet walked away with 10 gold medals and 10 silver and bronze medals. We're extremely proud of all our students, including Mel and Anthony who competed in the Pankration tournament! Check it out:

Eddie Bravo will be teaching advanced Jiu-Jitsu classes through the month of September. Our regular Burbank classes, taught by Alder Hampel and Scott "Einstein" Epstein, have been added back to the schedule including a new class on Sunday. We now offer 6 non-advanced Jiu-Jitsu class each week, 6 advanced Jiu-Jitsu classes, an all women's class, and an open mat. Check for all schedule changes by clicking here: Schedule
