We teach Muay Thai Kickboxing classes, Wrestling classes that focus on wrestling for jiu-jitsu, and of course Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. All classes are taught by our top level instructors. We're very pleased to close out the summer by announcing some exciting changes at 10th Planet Burbank. Scott "Epstein" Einstein is running the Jiu Jitsu and MMA/Competition team programs, we are adding MMA and Competition classes to the schedule at no extra cost for the Jiu Jitsu or Unlimited programs, Erwann Marshall is returning to teach regularly scheduled classes, Rebel Yoga is here to stay, Jason Eisner teaches daytime classes, Kru Victor Acosta ramps up sparring, smokers, and competition in the Muay Thai program, Amir Allam returns from his world travels to resume teaching Wrestling class, and Conor Huen will be teaching the new MMA classes with Scott through September and October! Two students from 10th Planet Burbank represented in a muay thai smoker at the Muay Thai Academy of America in North Hollywood. Competing in the traditional setting of a boxing ring surrounded by a couple hundred spectators, the competition and technique on display was nothing short of awesome. We are currently offering a free women's class on Sundays from 11:30-1:00. If you've been intimidated or uncomfortable with the idea grappling in a coed class, or are simply curious about Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts, this is a great way to get introduced to the sport. Some of our women are training to compete, while others are training for fitness, experience, and fun! |
