Takashi "TK" Munoz has been training and competing in mixed martial arts since he was 11 years old. born to a boxing father, martial arts are in his blood. Takashi started is career in Kyokushin karate, a full contact striking art from Japan emphasizing realistic combat, physical toughness, and self improvement, which has given the style international appeal and a reputations for being one of the most intense fighting arts. He currently has a brown belt in kyokushin karate, and has competed in over 24 combat katate competitions around the world.

Takashi started boxing at the age of 14 and training and competing in muay thai kickboxing at the age of 16. He continues to actively train in both.
A couple of years ago, takashi turned his focus toward MMA fighting. He has faught on tuff-n-uff twice, one of which he earned knock out of the night honors, and is actively training for his next MMA fight. When asked how far out he starts his training camp, takashi's answer is: "You gotta be ready all year long. It's better to be prepared for something than to wait for it."
With Takashi's wealth of experience both training and competing in so many different martial arts, he brings a unique set of combat striking techniques to our kickboxing classes.
